These Roulette machines are the worst things to ever enter a bookies. I'm 29yrs old and have got myself totally hooked on these machines. I now have thousands of pounds worth of dept and for some reason I still can't stay away. Its making my life a nightmare.
I've always been fond of a gamble but it's always been just a few pound on the horse's or football. Losing on these kinds of bets I could handle. With Roulette it seems totally different. I think they give out a mindset that you should always win and as soon as you lose you think you'll get it back by putting more in. You go in thinking you can double your £10 for example, you then start losing and gambling more and more. You starting betting bigger stakes as you know that if your number comes out you'll get your money back. I know you might think thats the same with all bets but I know for a fact that I can walk away having lost on football and not start chasing it. With Roulette I can't walk away and will keep feeding the machine until I've lost all my wages.
The highs of winning on Roulette is fantastic but the low's are the worst feeling ever. I keep saying I'll stop but I just keep coming back. If anyone out there has had a similar problem and has overcome these dreaded machines I'd love to hear from you. Also I'd like to hear from anyone who has a similar problem with Roulette as myself....
